Carter Community Charter School, INC., students in grades K-3 participate in project based learning.



Carter Community Charter School, INC., hosts the Project H.O.P.E. after-school program sponsored by a Kellogg Foundation Grant. The program operates 5 days a week from 3:00  6:00 PM.



Carter Community Charter School, INC.,partners with students from Duke University, UNC  Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University, and the Watts School of Nursing. They provide mentoring, and lead academic enrichment classes in Art, Health and PE, Spanish, Ballroom dancing, and Drama.
